Ms Lala Irviana

Advisor

Lala Irviana is a full time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Indonesia and currently a third year PhD student at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. Prior to that, she obtained her bachelor and Master degrees  from Diponegoro University, Indonesia. Her research revolves around the topics of emotions, family values, cross culture and Asian culture in the field of family business. She has been working alongside family businesses in Indonesia, ranging from small to multinational family businesses. Her latest experience is with one of the biggest herbal companies in Asia. In her research expertise, she has presented her research at conferences such as International Family Enterprise Research Academy Annual Conference (IFERA) and European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM). She has also participated in the summer school for Family Business researcher at the Center of Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) Jonkoping University, Sweden and as a visiting researcher at Lancaster University, United Kingdom.
